Crossroads Christian skates past Bradford Academy with ease

The Crossroads Christian Colts stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Bradford Academy 65-16 on the road. With Crossroads Christian ahead 38-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Crossroads Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Alston, who scored 17 points along with five steals. Ben Gladieux was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why Bradford Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Patrick Crotts. Despite the final result, he scored ten points.

Crossroads Christian's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Bradford Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian and Lee Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Lee Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Bradford Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Garden Friends at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Garden Friends presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bradford Academy in North Carolina (New Garden Friends is ranked 170th, while Bradford Academy is ranked 642nd).
