Overton took a 35-point loss the last time they faced off against Tenaha, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs slipped by the Tigers 39-38 on Saturday. The Mustangs' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tenaha, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Overton is taking a road trip to square off against West Rusk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tenaha, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against White Oak at 6:00 p.m.
