Silver Lake Regional has gone a perfect 10-0 against Duxbury recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lakers are taking a road trip to challenge the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Duxbury took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Silver Lake Regional, who comes in off a win.

Silver Lake Regional's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Plymouth North 18-0. Considering the Lakers have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Duxbury didn't have quite enough to beat Marshfield on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Silver Lake Regional's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Duxbury, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Silver Lake Regional took their victory against Duxbury in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
