After flying high against Westside last Saturday, Leon came back down to earth. The Leon Lions fell to the Gadsden County Jaguars 46-42. That makes it the first time this season the Lions have let down their home crowd.

Jahyria Dillard had an outrageously good game for Gadsden County as she had 18 points along with eight steals and seven boards. Leon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-39 victory against North Florida Christian on the 10th. As for Gadsden County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-22 win against FAMU DRS on the 19th.
