Whitinsville Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Blackstone-Millville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on January 3rd.
Despite the loss, Whitinsville Christian still got an impressive performance from Caleb Deters, who scored 17 points. That was a full 50% of Whitinsville Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Plantinga, who scored eight points.
Leading Blackstone-Millville to victory were Jackson Dunton and Brady Folster. Dunton scored six points along with five steals, while Folster scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Dunton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Ousman Touray was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.
Whitinsville Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-5. As for Blackstone-Millville, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
