Grayville falls despite strong effort from Ty'zae Rowland

The Grayville Bison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodlawn. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grayville has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Grayville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ty'zae Rowland. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with seven rebounds.

Grayville dropped their record down to 14-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Woodlawn, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Grayville will head out on the road to take on Carmi-White County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carmi-White County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Grayville in Illinois (Carmi-White County is ranked 180th, while Grayville is ranked 393rd). As for Woodlawn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
