Soccer Recap: Otay Ranch Plays to a Tie

Otay Ranch saw some tournament action on Saturday. Neither they nor the Preuss UCSD Tritons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Diego Gallardo and Enrique Gasca scored both of Otay Ranch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

With that draw, Otay Ranch's record moves to 3-5-4. Meanwhile, Preuss UCSD's record is now 4-4-1.

Otay Ranch will be playing at home against Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Otay Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Preuss UCSD, they won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Gompers Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
