Soccer Recap: Community Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Community Christian had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Young Americans Christian Eagles on Thursday as the Community Christian Knights made off with a 5-1 victory. The Knights' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Community Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Young Americans Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Community Christian and Young Americans Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Community Christian will take on Strong Rock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 279 places (404 vs. 125). Community Christian has given up an average of 5.1 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Meanwhile, Young Americans Christian (ranked 361st) will meet Central Georgia Arts (ranked 118th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Community Christian is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
