Basketball Recap: Booker Takes Down Shamrock in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Booker had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 33-28 W over the Shamrock Irish on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Kiowas as they're now sitting on three straight.

Booker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maria Perez out in front who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Perez a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zulema Ruiz, who scored two points and four steals.

Booker's win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Shamrock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.

Coming up, Booker will take on Kress at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Shamrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
