Basketball Recap: Dallas Takes a Loss

Dallas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Albany Redhawks, falling 71-47. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Redhawks are ranked 53rd).

Dallas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for South Albany, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas will venture away from home to square off against McKay at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. McKay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Dallas likes a good challenge. As for South Albany, they will head out on the road to challenge Silverton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
