Volleyball Recap: McIntosh Find Success

McIntosh won the last time they faced Harrison and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chiefs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hoyas 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs.

McIntosh had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 16-25, 27-25, 15-8.

Claudia Meditz paced McIntosh's offense, picking up 15 kills. Meditz got some help from Braelyn Ottolini and her 15 assists. Mya Conley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Harrison still got an impressive performance from Addison Cooley, who had 19 digs and four assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Musca, who had 12 assists and six digs.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, McIntosh will challenge Alpharetta at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Harrison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mount Paran Christian on the 14th.
