Basketball Game Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. Redondo Union Sea Hawks

The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mira Costa just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a hard 58-40 fall against the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, Redondo Union waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They took their game with ease, bagging a 71-28 victory over the Panthers. The Sea Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 29 points or more this season.

Redondo Union has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci was taken down by Redondo Union 82-53 when the teams last played on January 7th. Can Wiseburn- Da Vinci avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
