Soccer Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Scotland on Tuesday, Lee County came back down to earth. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Middle Creek Mustangs on Thursday, falling 9-0. Lee County haven't had much luck with Middle Creek recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Middle Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Lee County is taking a road trip to take on Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Alamance will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Lee County surely won't give up without a fight. Middle Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
