Basketball Recap: Garrett Schwartz Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Dr. Joaquin Garcia

Olympic Heights won the last time they faced Dr. Joaquin Garcia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Olympic Heights Lions managed a 44-40 win over the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs. The 44-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Olympic Heights' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Garrett Schwartz, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Toribio, who scored seven points.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drovinsky Ulysse, who put up seven points and eight boards.
