After a string of four wins, Unity Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 46-21 to the Sullivan Redskins. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Redskins are ranked 107th).

Unity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Sullivan, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Unity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-34 defeat against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] on the 22nd. As for Sullivan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 64-19 victory against Heritage on the 23rd.
