Volleyball Recap: Hayes Comes Up Short

Hayes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westerville North Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 3rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-17.

Hayes' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Westerville North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hayes will face off against rival Westerville South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westerville North is set to take on their familiar foe Worthington Kilbourne at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
