Basketball Recap: Bedford North Lawrence Comes Up Short

Bedford North Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Evansville North Huskies didn't end well, with the Bedford North Lawrence Stars falling 51-36. While losing is never fun, the Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Huskies are ranked 61st).

Bedford North Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Evansville North, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford North Lawrence will welcome Jennings County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evansville North, they and Evansville Bosse will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
