Softball Recap: Animo Watts Comes Up Short

Animo Watts lost to Animo Venice back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Pirates, falling 14-4. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Animo Watts has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Animo Venice, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Coincidentally, Animo Watts and Animo Venice will both be playing Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Wolves at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Pirates will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
