Eldorado faced La Cueva in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Eagles fell 4-1 to the Bears. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cooper Burak was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
