Football Recap: East Valley Starts off Right with Win over Valor Academy

East Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Valor Academy 38-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

East Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Juliette Villalobos and Genesis Escobar were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Danielle Tsao got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

East Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Van Nuys at 2:30 p.m. on September 8. As for Valor Academy, they will challenge Sun Valley Magnet at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
