Basketball Recap: Wolfe City Takes a Loss

Wolfe City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Whitewright Tigers. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 39-33.

Wolfe City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Whitewright, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Wolfe City will be playing at home against Tom Bean at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitewright, they will head out to take on Sam Rayburn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
