Frenship had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Permian Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Frenship's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Permian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Frenship and Permian will both be playing San Angelo Central the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th.
