Meanwhile, Northridge fought the good fight in their overtime match against Viewmont on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 36-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered against the Vikings since January 18, 2022.

Woods Cross' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-8. As for Northridge, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
