Soccer Recap: Niles Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Niles Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schurz Bulldogs.

Niles Notre Dame now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Schurz, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niles Notre Dame will welcome Nazareth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Schurz, they will take on Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
