Basketball Recap: Beaumont School Comes Up Short

Beaumont School played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-17 loss at the hands of the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals. The match marked the Blue Streaks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Maria Goske was Beaumont School's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Savannah Triggs held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Beaumont School and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaumont School will take on Hawken at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beaumont School is facing Hawken at the right time seeing as Hawken is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they will square off against Elyria Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
