Softball Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

Saddleback was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Bolsa Grande Matadors, falling 17-7. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-5 loss on Monday.

Saddleback's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Bolsa Grande, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Matadors beat Saddleback by a score of 17-7 on Wednesday.
