Volleyball Recap: Alpha Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Alpha Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Winston Salem Christian Lions on Tuesday. The Timberwolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

Sienna Vaughn was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs. Marisa Reiter was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Alpha Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Winston Salem Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.

Alpha Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m.
