Oaks Christian came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2017.

Oaks Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 24-26, 25-18, 25-20, 18-16.

Oaks Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Notre Dame (SO), they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oaks Christian will head out to square off against Chaminade at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will venture away from home to take on Crossroads at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
