It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Medina can now relate to. They fell just short of the Oneonta Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Medina saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Culver, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Medina's loss dropped their record down to 22-2. As for Oneonta, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Medina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oneonta, they will challenge Putnam Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight.
