Volleyball Recap: Durham School of the Arts Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Durham School of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Carrboro Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-6.

Abigail Schnee paced Durham School of the Arts' offense, picking up two kills. Schnee really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three. Finally, Ruby Henderson and Peyton Walker kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Leading Carrboro to victory were Hayley Royal and Caroline Butler. Royal had three digs and three aces, while Butler had eight assists.

Durham School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Carrboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Durham School of the Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Orange on the 2nd. As for Carrboro, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Cedar Ridge on the 2nd.
