Volleyball Recap: Raytown South Takes a Loss

Raytown South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Grandview Bulldogs.

While Raytown South was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Grandview's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-14.

Raytown South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grandview, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Raytown South will take on Raymore-Peculiar at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grandview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Guadalupe Centers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Aztecs at the right time seeing as the Aztecs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
