Sequoyah had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Denmark. That's more bragging rights for the Chiefs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Sequoyah won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Denmark had strong showings from Leah Johnson, who had six digs and one block, and Annika Ojert, who had nine digs and three assists.

Sequoyah's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Denmark, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Marietta on the 9th. As for Denmark, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against East Coweta on the 9th.
