Central extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to 14 on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-0. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 110-55 victory over the Alhambra Lions. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 28 points or more this season.

As for Alhambra, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Central is ranked 11th).

Alhambra's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Carter, who shot 60% from the field en route to 21 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Hunter James, who posted eight points.
