Volleyball Recap: Colonial Christian Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Colonial Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Keys Gate, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Colonial Christian Patriots were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Keys Gate Knights on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Colonial Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-19.

Alexander Ovalle paced Colonial Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ovalle got some help from Janthony Victoria and his 24 assists. Brayden Case controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Colonial Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Keys Gate, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Colonial Christian will welcome Pinecrest Glades Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keys Gate, they will head out on the road to take on Mater Bay Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keys Gate is facing Mater Bay Academy at the right time seeing as Mater Bay Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
