Southwest has gone 10-0 against South Miami recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Southwest Eagles will head out to take on the South Miami Cobras at 3:00 p.m. Southwest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Southwest turned things around against Coral Park on Thursday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Eagles' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, South Miami entered their tilt with Hialeah on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the Thoroughbreds a 1-0 shutout. Give the Cobras' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

South Miami pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Southwest's draw makes their record 1-7-1 this season.

Southwest beat South Miami 5-3 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southwest since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
