Baseball Recap: Shattuck Beats Fletcher for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Shattuck extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 21-3 in the process. Everything went their way against the Fletcher Wildcats as they made off with an 8-2 win. Considering the Indians have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Fletcher, they moved to 20-12 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since March 18th.

For Fletcher's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Mahan, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Fletcher has already played their next matchup, a 14-6 victory against Depew on the 2nd. Hopefully Shattuck paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats on Friday.
