Football Recap: Suring Comes Up Short

Suring faced Algoma in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles took a blow against the Wolves, falling 48-18. The Eagles have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Suring's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Algoma, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Suring nor Algoma have any future games scheduled.
