Baseball Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

After flying high against Depew on Saturday, Davenport came back down to earth. The Davenport Bulldogs fell just short of the Weleetka Outlaws by a score of 5-4 on Saturday.

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Weleetka, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Davenport will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Depew at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Weleetka, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Mounds on the 15th.
