Freeburg is a perfect 7-0 against East Alton-Wood River since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Midgets are taking a road trip to challenge the Oilers at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Freeburg earned a 6-1 victory over East Alton-Wood River. The win continues a trend for the Midgets in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now won seven in a row.

Waeltz Aubrey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mylie LaFore, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Rebstock, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

East Alton-Wood River is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10. As for Freeburg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
