Volleyball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor was the 3-0 winner over Oak Hills when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Taylor fell just short of Oak Hills by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Taylor took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-14, 21-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Sam Henline paced Taylor's offense, picking up 13 kills. Henline got some help from Jaxson Snell and his 41 assists.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Taylor and Oak Hills will both be playing Edgewood the next time they take the court. Oak Hills will host Edgewood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Taylor will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
