Meanwhile, Shea faced Ponaganset in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Shea received a blow as they fell 59-42 to Ponaganset. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now lost three in a row.

Shea's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Mary Academy-Bay View, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

St. Mary Academy-Bay View strolled past Shea in their previous meeting last Wednesday by a score of 61-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Mary Academy-Bay View since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
