Butler strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over The Noble Academy Griffins. That's more bragging rights for the Lynx, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Butler easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17.

Xyanna Walton paced Butler's offense, picking up three kills. Walton were helped by Miranda Gamboa and Monyca Coleman, who contributed three assists each. Gamboa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Butler's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for The Noble Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Butler will face off against Hirsch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Noble Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Rauner will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
