Softball Recap: Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Takes a Loss

If Sangamon Valley/Tri-City was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of North Greene on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Storm fell just short of the Springfield Senators by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Senators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Sangamon Valley/Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Springfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Sangamon Valley/Tri-City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Springfield has already played their next matchup (against Tri-City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
