Volleyball Recap: Aptos Comes Up Short

Aptos lost against Fremont back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aptos Mariners lost 3-0 to the Fremont Firebirds.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-17.

Aptos dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fremont, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aptos will take on Prospect at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Fremont and Irvington will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Fremont is facing Irvington at the right time seeing as Irvington is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
