Soccer Game Preview: South vs. Palos Verdes

The South Spartans will challenge the Palos Verdes Sea Kings at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

South is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Redondo Union on Friday. South fell just short of Redondo Union by a score of 1-0. Meanwhile, Palos Verdes came up short against Mira Costa on Friday and fell 3-1. The Sea Kings have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Palos Verdes' loss dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for South, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
