Baseball Recap: William Byrd Terriers vs. Bassett Bengals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin County, William Byrd was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Bassett Bengals. The Terriers haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Bradley Counts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
