Softball Recap: Beulah Triumphs

Beulah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt Garrison on Tuesday. The Miners' pitchers stepped up to hand the Troopers a 20-0 shutout. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Troopers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Beulah now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Garrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Beulah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] on the 14th. Hopefully Garrison paid attention to the Miners' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Miners at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
