Basketball Recap: MacArthur Gets the Win

Eastern came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against MacArthur, but Sasha Torres wouldn't allow it. The Mammoths blew past the Ramblers 52-28 on Friday thanks in part to Torres, who posted 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of MacArthur's points.

MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Eastern, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, MacArthur will venture away from home to face off against Anacostia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 29-15 loss against City College on the 10th.
