Volleyball Recap: Hernando Tigers vs. Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots
The Hernando Tigers didn't have quite enough to beat the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots on Thursday and fell 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hernando sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 15-9.
Leading Madison-Ridgeland Academy to victory were Macy Gladden and Keira Hariel. Gladden had 12 digs and two aces, while Hariel had 13 assists and seven digs. That's the most digs Gladden has posted over her last eight games.
Hernando's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
