West Vigo had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Owen Valley Patriots a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but West Vigo sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Sinders Savannah and Zaylee Macke scored both of West Vigo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

West Vigo's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Owen Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, West Vigo will take on Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Danville will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. Owen Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
